Jordan and Mahaylia got married at Gails of Tamahere, which is a beautiful venue about 20 minutes outside of central Hamilton. The venue is surrounded by lush greenery, has the cutest little chapel and a stunning reception spot looking out onto the gardens!
I first met Jordan a couple of years ago at church and we actually went to the same school too, so when we got in touch with me to photograph his wedding I was stoked! It was really special to be part of their day.
The ceremony was at the venue’s chapel and it was just stunning. During the ceremony, they had several personal touches such as a beautiful testimony shared by Mahaylia, and a song from their bridesmaid and groomsman.
After the ceremony, there were drinks and canapes outside the chapel and then we headed to the Hamilton Gardens for bridal party photos!
The reception was also at Gails of Tamahere in a spot overlooking the gardens. They had a delicious buffet dinner, and I have to say – the food was incredible!
They had some amazing speeches including dress-ups and even a self-written rap!
The first dance was beautiful and then everyone got onto the dance floor and had a good ol time.
Some kind words from the couple…
“Rebecca gave us really beautiful wedding pictures that we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives. She made us feel completely comfortable and captured some wonderful moments with excellent photo quality. Would highly recommend for a professional, and fun, photography experience.”
